RBGBUK predominantly works with churches around the world to promote the word of God in order to reach the unreached through a variety of methods and means. We only work for those in true need, and we have developed online welfare programmes specifically aimed to support the underprivileged.

At RBGBUK our main goal is to encourage people to read the Bible aloud in order to obtain the benefits and understanding that this brings. Loving God with all our heart is something we all aim for, but we often struggle with the practical ways of doing so. One method is feasting on God’s word by reading what He has said about Himself, about us and the world He has created. However, our minds are easily distracted, and it can seem simpler to focus on spiritual junk food rather than the nourishment of God’s word. At Read Bible Get Blessed (RBGBUK), we want to help to make reading the Bible a truly exciting and enlightening experience, rather than just a box-ticking chore.

Numerous studies show that reading text out loud helps us retain information better, ensuring that the effort we put in actually pays off. Plus, actively participating allows us to concentrate more easily. We suggest that participants find a quiet space in which to read out loud, which reduces the chance of being distracted. Reading aloud can also help the reader to visualise what they read, fostering a better understanding and a closer relationship with the text.
